I wish there f*cking was. Still no update from my shop on availability. Sucks -- no wonder businesses suffered so badly -- they don't know customer service.
So, tomorrow I will have the headers back in my possession and if I can't get my buddy's referral to go through, I am taking my business to AWE.
Regardless, putting my IE Valve Cover and EuroJet Catch Can on by Wednesday.

Been very pre-occupied with things. I had to ditch the previous shop/option due to the guy dragging his feet like a prick.
I am meeting up today with a local place, Brad Fab Industries, to have everything looked at. Will also be making my deposit for the parts (mid-pipe stuff) and gonna have things somewhat figured out by then.
I was going to do it next Saturday but I will be in Omaha for a shareholder's meeting.

The custom mid pipe was fitted with a flex pipe and a complete deletion of the cat. The fancy branches coming off of the mid pipe are isolators for the O2 sensors. The reason he went with such long ones was because complete isolators, shorter ones, tend to be a hit and miss with their reliability, thus the conclusion just to do it right and bend at 70°.
For longer term endurance and prevention of rust/corrosion, my guy coated them with some basic Rustoleum ceramic spray.
Overall, car pulls smooth across all bands of power, but the ECU adaptation/self adjustment will take anywhere from a week to two weeks for full results.

Video is currently 'rotating' to the correct position. May take a few seconds for the changes to be applied.
This was just a quick teaser made on my phone on my way to work. Will hook the GOPRO up later and get things going for better results.

That sounds really nice. It's not throwing a cel without the cat and no tune?

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the whole thing cost you?
#62
that sounds intoxicating....very nice!!!!

how did the headers fit? were they a direct fit or did u have to do anything else for then to work? where the real video with the go pro?
#64
Direct fit. Just needed custom mid pipe.

I just bought the obx headers for my jetta se. i bought the other one they sell that comes with the midpipe. I hope it all fits.

Return it... that setup is no bueno. The 5 to 1 which I have is a direct copy of the EuroJet header...
Just spend the few extra on the custom mid pipe at an exhaust place and do it right.
Trust me on that -- I did a lot of research on this before I pulled the trigger.

Mind if I PM you tomorrow with the threads regarding the difference in designs? I will Post it all on this thread as well. I am about to fall asleep.
But a quick summary, it is a design difference in the 3 to 2 to 1 versus the EuroJet 5 to 1.
