the plugs in the top of the oil filter landing on an ABA?
    1/4NPT?

i know this is probably a stupid question but i've looked tons of places on the internet and i can't find it, and i don't have access to my motor at the moment.

Why would there be a non-metric pipe thread on a german car? I believe the oil press sw holes are M10X1.
Tradition is the art of making the same mistake repeatedly, on purpose.

    metric..

    m10x1.0

1/4 is close, but different. metric threads are straight, and NPT threads are tapered..

if you run 1/4" into it, it wont seal right, or ever take metric threads again..

i've heard of people using it for oil feed to a turbo.....all of them will squirt a sufficient amount of oil i assume?
