Thread: B5 S4 Stage 3

1. Bump

2. G0d Damn! I avg 30+ on the highway in my stg3 with many more mods. I avg 20-22 and sometimes more with a combination of highway/city driving. I drive pretty hard, have a bad o2 sensor, and just found out today that my timingbelt was off by a little. I would look into a reputable shop to get a new tune. Mine is custom from ASP. Call a few shops and see what they say. Car looks pretty good otherwise. Good luck with the sale!

3. Stock S4 gas mileage for city and highway is 15 and 22 respectively, so your numbers for your stage 3 is skewed.

4. Bump for price drop!

5. Bump

6. Monday morning bump

7. Bump

8. That was on a 120 mile trip. I've seen 32mpg before also... I also manually calculate the mpg. You don't have to believe me, I know how often I fill up and how far I go. Glws

9. How is that a realistic number when you're not going anywhere? I can get readings like that too if my car is just sitting there idling. Anyways, thanks for the bump.

10. I hate doing this and I'm sorry this ever turned into a debate, but did you even read what I had said? It was after a 120 mile roundtrip from NJ to NY with mostly highway driving. And No... idling does not get you a 30+ mpg. If you reset your OBC mpg calculator and just let it idle you'll see it slowly start to decrease from 14mpg or so. Was I supposed to take a picture of my mpg while driving, when I can do the exact same thing while stopped? Your logic to prove me wrong holds no weight. Although the OBC isn't a 100% accurate it gives a pretty close reading and by dividing the amount of miles I drive from full to empty by the amount of gallons I put in when i fill up I'm usually only 1-2 mpg off what the OBC says... which is like I said previously 20-22. I'm sure if you search around you'll see many other stg3 cars achieve this also. Have a good day. I'm done talking about this.

So by this picture it means that I'm getting twice the MPG as you? I took this after my 35 mile commute to work. Hell if I'm getting 61 MPG, that's better than a Prius! The only thing that your logic proves, is that you're a moron if you think your stage 3 450+ HP car gets 30+ MPG.

That's not even readable, but nevertheless, you're a true idiot. My tank takes a MAXIMUM of 13.5 gallons to fill up when the gas light comes on. I go a MINIMUM of 250 miles before the light comes back on when driving hard. When I'm not driving hard I've seen a good 320 miles before the light came back on. Do the math. Just because you have a ****ty tune doesn't mean everyone does. I told you that trip where I got 30mpg was mainly highway driving. I didn't reset the thing while already at highway speeds either.

Check this out (7-8 people with stg3 and better posted on this thread all reported 20mpg and better with the exception of one 19mpg)

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ht=stage+3+mpg

and some more people here...

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ht=stage+3+mpg

a few more...

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ht=stage+3+mpg

and one more for good measure...

Now shut the **** up or go and tell every single other person on those threads that they're all wrong. Once again, I know how much I put into my car and how far I go. Take care.

13. You're better off making a new FS thread because this one is trashed. GLWS

14. Yeah, they are just as retarded as you for thinking their car gets the same gas mileage as a Corolla. Also, no I don't have to make a new thread, because it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So peace!
