There use to be. But the died out. Other than the Berkeley GTG in January, there is not much. I'm sure if there is interest and someone plans it. People will show up.

I'm always down for a meet. I am a poor working slob. I work m-f 8-6. Some weekends are OK. Once the show season starts, I will be out of town at events. Also, In and Out GTG in Daly City is the 2nd Saturday of the month.
As for ogling women, Not for me I'm equipped with my own set of fun bags. But I'm always down for looking at some clean cars. (Clean Cars+Durty Girls=Fun)

Seeing that the East Bay is spread the hell out...I dont see a gtg that covers all area's and time and dates are a b8 to setup.

I personally dont have the time to do a weekly thing, let alone a bi-weekly thing. Once a months might work.

I Will NEVER go Winn. They treated me badly, then flamed on me, vs fixing the problems.

@redhead: Why didn't you complain to Aaron then? Plus, who in their right mind would bring a corrado to a dealership. Most of them (unless actual VW heads) won't know any car earlier than 2004, let alone how to work on one...

That's George Miller Park. In the Point. I do not know if they are still enforcing the dusk to dawn curfew. It is a great location. Many parking lots and picnic tables with BBQ's There is also some good food in the point.

I also have never has a problem with Berkeley marina. I have also done GTG's at Lawrence Hall of Science, in the Berkeley hills. That is a great meeting spot, if you also planning a drive.

The Lawrence hall of Science is great for me. The roads back behind it are great. The view from that spot is great too. That sounds like a great spot to me

I'm in the hood also. I grew up in the Point.
I agree Berkeley is a better centralized meeting point. It is more in the center of the 510.
