Yes, that will be for later this year. Filling the holes in the rockers, then having them painted. Secured a tdi rear (hopefully), and picking up my momo hub while I'm in Savannah this week... Things are rolling again...

I don't necessarily prefer ruining the car... I just know what I want in a MKV. To be 100% honest, doing it this way was about a billion times easier than swapping an R32 drivetrain into the old rabbit. I did the math before I picked up the car and it was cheaper too.

Man your car is amazing. Only thing I don't care for is the gti side skirts... I read your thread and realize they're just a temporary fix, but something about the contrast with the blue looks strange to me.

In person it looks fine, especially with having all black lowers. I'm really on the fence about them though... I'm not going to throw them away, but I'll see how the car sits without them and kinda make a decision about it when the time comes.

Worst case I switch to votex front/side/rears.

Needs matching rubstrips and I think it would apear to be more complete textured look?

I like the direction you have gone with the R.

It's a tossup between the Votex lip and a 997 turbo lip... heh. I've been on this debate for years, though.

Passed you on honeygo today, car looks 1000X better without the shotty shaved bumpers. Keep on with the progress. I'll be back on the road in an R within the next few months...hopefully.

No sh*t man! I've got a few more pre-sowo tweaks.. But I do have to say thanks for keeping it so clean... Car's a gem!
