Rear strut mount question.

I have a 2006 GLI and I'm planing on changing my suspension (lower it). and I want to replace my rear shock mounts too, I bought some rear shock mounts from ECStuning.com but they sent me the round ones but my car has the oval shape ones, my question is : Are these mounts interchangeable? Will these rear round mounts fit on my car with the oval ones?

interesting, seems like only early 2006 audi A3, golf and jettas had those oval rear mounts, but I think we can always replace them with the round ones, the distance between the two mounting bolts is the same on both (124 mm). only problem is that im gonna have to buy the round bump stops too in order to fit the mounts (urotuning.com $14 each)
