Well I bought an 2001 Jetta Wolfburg about a month ago and have been having nothing but issues.
Rear Clunking, Vacuum Hoses all Mangled, A/C stopped working, and now water pump starting to go.
I know its due for a timing belt/ water pump change and I want to get that done before worrying about anything else. Does anyone know a place that can get this done at a good price? Are any of you mechanically inclined to do this for me at a price?
P.S I figure since I will be getting this done, what other parts are good to change/service in that area since it's already being worked on?
Thanks in advance for all your guys help.

Thanks guys
Didn't have a chance to take the time for a proper reply earlier, finally settling in for the night so I thought I'd take the time to do it now.
The rear clunking is almost certainly the rear axle bushings, very common problem and something I can do for you no problem.
Vacuum hoses on a 1.8t can get costly as there is many expensive special hoses used that like to deteriorate/become brittle and crack. But something you want to address before a big enough leak occurs where the car won't idle.
A/C is likely a compressor clutch, but could be many other things, seeing as it isn't quite summer yet, and there are other more pressing issues at hand, something I would recommend leaving untill later on.
Water pump on it's way out should be addressed, which you already know is important
If your interested in my services shoot me a pm and I can give you my number and wether you just want to do the belt/pump or some of the other things, we can work out a deal so you can make the most of your money.
