traction light stays lit

Hello all..... Lastnight I had cleaned my MAF sensor. Welll this morning when I started the car my traction and check engine light came on. Unplugged battery to reset codes because I forgot to plug maf back in. anyways, I drove it to get code scanned because the traction light was still on. Stated that maf was out. Replaced that, now no matter what I do the traction light will stay lit. Havent gotten a check engine light on it yet hopfully the MAF is okay so far. But why would the traction lught still stay on? And ideas? Ive read that when the MAF begans to fault on Audis that the traction light will still come on also.

Any suggestions or advive will help..

My only difference is that I had the check engine light, but cleared it (for now).

Mass Air Flow (MAF) is clean. K&N air filter is clean and not oiled up too much.
