How much are you selling her for??

Hello,
I am selling my 1976 Audi Fox. It is a four door, manual shift with sunroof. I bought this car to save it from getting into the wrong hands. It had been off the road for 22 years. I spent time and cleaned the gas tank and the fuel injection system. It now runs and drives. I bought this car from the original owner. It only has 41k miles on it. Everything is in pretty decent condition. The seals and weather stripping are all in great shape. I put the rims and tires on that I had around. I have the original wheels too. The car has a functioning sunroof that does not leak. Overall the car is in really good shape, It could use seat cover or the seats need to be reupholstered. I have owned this car for a year or so. I have too many projects and I would rather see someone drive it then let it sit. These cars are pretty rare and this is a really nice one. The car is located in Fort Collins CO. I am happy to help with shipping.
Hard to say what these cars are worth. I want to see it go to a good home and I would like it to be a good deal for both parties. So lets say $2400 or best offer.
I am open to all VW Audi trades or anything interesting.

Tell your buddies.. I would like to see this car off to a new owner.
Interesting trades welcome. I drove this car 40 miles the other day. It is pretty cool.

...and drove it all around the country from Pennsylvania to California in 1986, a circuitous route of about 10,000 miles. The timing belt slipped off twice (tensioner needed replacement), but each time after putting a new one on - no problems. After I got to CA, with about 140,000 miles on the car, I took it to AAA to get the oil analyzed, and they said that the cylinder block was "like new."
My mom bought it new, and special ordered it from Germany. It was pretty reliable, except back then, Audi was not very established in the U.S., and when something did go wrong, often it took a long time to order a part.
Simple, except for the fuel injection (that was quite a modern thing that flummoxed the average mechanic in 1976), fairly quick, and great in the winter.
I sold it in 1988, though, after going through a couple of used fuel pumps. I still have an old CV joint I replaced on the car.

OK guys,
I would really like to see this car go to someone that will use t. Bring on the offers. I would like to see it gone. Low balls will likely be declined but there is a price out there that will work.
Let's get this thing back on the road.

I'm swapping the engine in my 92 syncro passat this week (ultra rare). It'll be daily driver quality with the new engine block, and comes with tons of parts. I would be extremely willing to work out a deal with you for this thing, i love it. Let me know!

I took this car on a test drive again yesterday. It had been sitting for a month or so. Took 45 second or so to start. Then held a perfect idle and drove down the road with great power. Seriously this car is like brand new in many ways.
Someone needs to buy it. It is going on local Craigslist right now.

I had the pleasure of checking this car out and driving it with mike the other day and I have to say this car is amazing. Whatever you guys are thinking, its better. Drives like a dream and well worth the asking price. Somebody jump on this. You won't regret it. Mike is a great guy and this car is a supreme survivor.

Is this still available? I've sent a PM, and also an email via craiglist.

Last I saw the car was still outside the shop. If you don't hear back at all give "Mr. Mechanic" a call, its the name of the shop in Fort Collins.
