So I've only seen one post on here reflecting this info. The guides on all of the tuning shops (APR, etc) are incorrect. The ECU for the 2012 GLI (and maybe all MkVI Jettas??) is not under the the windshield wipers. In fact, it's not even secured with VW's security bolts. It's on the driver's side of the engine bay in-between the battery and fusebox. Simply remove the ECU/fusebox cover, unhook the two wiring harnesses that plug into the top of the ECU, slightly pull away the tabs that secure the ECU, and lift out. I'm amazed at how easy it is on this car compared to other VWs.

Yeah I'm anxiously awaiting for Revo's flash to be released to their dealers. Supposedly not much longer.
