Kind of a random though, instead of welding the 16v intake flange to the 1.8t intake plenum/runners. Could I theoretically have a friend with a CNC machine make me a flange that bolts to the the 16v head and then accepts the 1.8t intake flange so it will just bolt up? Also if it would work does anyone with experience know if it would potentially lower intake temps/prevent heat transfer from the head to intake like the NSP gasket(http://www.newsouthperformance.com/gasket.htm)?
