O2M Cruise control only in gears 1-5

As the title states, I bought an O2M to replace my broken one. Cruise control works perfectly fine in gears 1-5 but absolutely nothing in 6th. Is it missing a sensor that I don't know about? I do have my old transmission, I was thinking of swapping the VSS and see if that makes any difference. But is there something I don't know about that is causing the issue?

I doubt it's your CC module that's giving you problems. If it were, you would have intermittent issues in all gears ( It would kick you off cruise randomly)

I would scan the car with a VAG-COM to check your VSS for faults. Or if you have another VSS laying around, throw it in to see if that's your issue

I swapped my old VSS. I did a scan on VAG-COM earlier but nothing came up for it. Seems odd. I'll find out if it's working tomorrow.

No, I've been busy but the only thing that would make sense is the VSS. I am in the process of getting a new one so I'll report back.
