Thumbs up to that. I just met a kid the other day who stopped by to see if i needed help when my car broke down. Turns out he also drives a vw and we see each other constantly on the roads

Could always do a newton quick chek or Franklin Arbys gtg on a Friday night. I use to run a small meet almost 6 years ago before the idiots showed up and had a burnout contest. It was a pita to setup, deal with the PD, and deal with "race car" drivers. Though its doable.

Exactly, we used to have a huge VW/Audi meet at Mountain Creek Ski Resort back in 2007/2008 before all the doucebags started coming around this area.

Yea, there always seems to be a trend.

Start a GTG
Nice and small for a couple weeks
Gets a lot of notice more cars show up
The "Fast and Furious" street racers show up, you try to keep them out but its uphill battle
Either you stop going due to idiots or the Police break it up
Start a new GTG

You really need to have someone run it be a hawk on any problems that come up & have 3-4 people that can pick up the slack if things get out of hand.

Newton, Sussex, and Franklin are good as far as locations. It would need to be a spot off the main drag though if you want to keep the fast n furious from causing trouble. In Franklin, Walmart would prob be better than arbys and in newton maybe lowes or something??

Franklin car meet... really? Walmart in franklin... cops/douchebags will be on you people within minutes, followed by a shutdown.

Sussex just stinks for meets unfortunately, just head down to the Lowe's Butler meet. Ryan keeps a level head and hopefully will continue to kick out all the low life's that sit around and just rev their 4 bangers / speed, that ruin it for the rest of us.

Chatterbox...lol. Chatterbox is off limits now i'd say. There used to be a few chatterbox meets in the past, but that died out. My good friends were the ones that started it, and at this point I would be shocked if you could get anything to happen, as the main person I am speaking about (who setup the Chatterbox gtg's) is the manager and she dosen't have them anymore and hasn't for years.

Kids ruin the fun. Local PD's have a very short leash when it comes to goofing around now a days.

Other option is we can goto a state park and setup a picnic/bbq.

That's my friend John over at Longwood Motors.. Both him and I have black 88 Sciroccos There is another guy driving around in a black Rocco on rt 94/rt23.
