OK...SoWo is 2 months away and time is quickly disappearing. Before you know it there will be a mad dash to find out who's going and who's rolling from where.

    Enter this thread.

I know Vortex can be a little slow in the South Regional section, but at least it will be here.

Currently I'm running solo, preferably early morning May 17th.

Tentatively meeting up with some Houston folks down somewhere. More details to come as time gets closer.

Are you going? If so just list when and where from and planned route. Rolling to Georgia can be a long haul, but with some fellow enthusiasts it can be a blast!

    Post up!

Yeah, my original plans fell through, so now I'm staying in Atlanta. It's a hop, skip and a jump from Helen.

Drew and I talked about y'alls roll out, and that there would be a meet up with some Houston folks as well. Looking forward to more details as time approaches, should be a good little caravan.

We would really like to go. But in the end, we're having a hard time convincing ourselves to dump $1k on that weekend alone. ..

Considering we use to live in South Carolina, and it only took us about 6hours _8hours (with our dog).

It will probably come down to a split/last second decision for us. It will be the first year we miss though, if we don't go. We've been there since the beginning! Camping every year..

If any of you need information about a really good campground, that is friendly for the vw's. Gives good deals. . Contact me. (Ps. its about 5minutes from town). But has nice flat roads for some good pulls.

Other Austin folks are leaving the 18th.

Being needed and having a flexible work environment are things that should go together. Sucks you won't be able to roll with us.

We're staying in Helen now, at the Ramada. Should be able to accommodate you, just bring a sleeping bag, we'll split the cost in thirds making the trip cheaper for all of us.

And the reason I can't make this trip. The only IT person and lately they have been denying me vacation times due to needing me too much as I am the only person that can handle anything including replacing toner on printers because staff refuse to do it themselves. LOL!

I'd like to leave Wednesday evening, stay the night at someone's house in Houston, and roll out with the BIG group at 5am in Houston/Baytown at the San Jacinto Mall.

I like the idea of rolling with 13+ people. Plus there is going to be ALOT of camera's/video cameras on this leg, and it will make for great rolling shots. It's always a great time, and I expect nothing less this time.

Also, if you guys want shirts, my buddy is making shirts for the cruise, but they are 25 bucks a pop. They will be ready to pick up from the guys from houston at the GTG. If you want a shirt let me know as soon as possible so I can get the numbers to them and get your shirt order in time.

This is the link to the shirt- BUT DO NOT BUY IT FROM THE SITE. THE SHIRT WILL BE LATE, WE HAVE A DIFFERENT PRESS MAKING THE SHIRTS IN ORDER TO GET THEM IN ON TIME.

    Okay guys. Let's roll...

If you haven't PM'd me your info, please do so if you plan on being on this order.

    Here is the info.

Per Alex, he would like to keep the design/color the same. We will get the exact model shirts used on the Soti site that Alex was going through.

    So:

    XXL-XXXL - $23 each

    Premium Fit Gildan Soft Tee:

    XXL-XXXL - $25 each

I will be bringing a notebook to tonight's EAG meet so I can get everyone's info. If you'd like to pay tonight, please do so. Please bring exact change.

If you'd like to pay through Paypal, please send funds to CamberWears@gmail.com. DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE SIZES AND QUANTIES OF EACH within' the paypal notes AND please pay as a "gift".

DEADLINE TO TURN IN MONEY AND YOUR SHIRT INFO WILL BE 5 DAYS FROM TODAY (MAY 9, 2012).

The shirts will then be printed the same week and hopefully ready by the weekend. The faster everyone gives us the funds the faster they print.

We can also make the deadline sooner IF everyone buying shirts pays ahead and if our printer guy isn't swamped with other orders. One advantage CWA has is our loyalty to him usually moves our orders to the top of the list.

Hopefully I didn't forget anything, but I'm sure most of us will be discussing this at the meet. (I will have EAG stickers as well. )

    Thanks,

    -CamberWears & Alex Bliss

If you haven't PM'd me your info, please do so if you plan on being on this order.

    Here is the info.

Per Alex, he would like to keep the design/color the same. We will get the exact model shirts used on the Soti site that Alex was going through.

    So:

    Basic Gildan Tee:
    S-XL - $20 each
    XXL-XXXL - $23 each

    Premium Fit Gildan Soft Tee:
    S-XL - $22 each
    XXL-XXXL - $25 each

    Colors available:

Okay guys, the color model that Alex sent us looks nothing like the photo from his website, so, we found another color that is a lot closer to it, which is called Honey. And, Gildan does not make this color shirt in Junior (lady) sizes. This needs to be done as fast as possible. Please look at the mock ups below and post what colors you want!
Today is the last day to order a shirt.

    Alright guys and gals...

for the Austin SoWo Roll Out we will be meeting at 4:30am the Shell Station at the following address:

    10441 U.S. 290
    Manor, TX 78653

It is located on the right side of the highway heading East to Houston; no having to cross 290 when arriving or leaving.

The plan is to meet at 4:30am so that we can leave by 5:00am, please plan accordingly as the first two legs are time sensitive.

Our Waco SoWo Roll Out soloist will be leaving no later than 4:15am.

Our respective first legs will end at a Shell Station at the following address:

    1945 FM 1488
    Hempstead, TX 77445

It is also located on the right side of the highway heading South East to Houston; no having to cross 290 when arriving or leaving. This will be a short stop just to join up with our Waco SoWo Roll Out soloist and continue on to Houston.

At this time, there has not been a finalized meet for the Houston SoWo Roll Out (8am). If the address for the meet is available before the 17th, I will update this thread accordingly.

It has been suggested to use Google Latitude for our cruise, and I am in full agreement. It's an easy way to stick together for our SoWo Cruise. If you are interested in using this app for the cruise, PM or text me your email address that you use to set up Google Latitude and I will provide mine in return. You can add and customize/ edit a pic for your profile as well.

    Austin SoWo Roll Out Goal

The main goal is to get to Helen, GA as quickly as possible while maintaining the posted speed limit (+8mph) using my cruise control.

There will be cameras throughout the entire SoWo Roll Out including confirmed snaps and GoPro footage from my GTI as well as Forge sponsored snaps and vids starting in Houston.

If you have any questions, please facebook, PM or text me!
