Ha, that skyline is befitting of a city with 100,000 people; not 950,000. Then again, San Jose is pretty much the world's largest suburb.

My local skyline, Toledo, is rather unimpressive:

I second the votes for Seattle and San Francisco.

    I also love Sydney's skyline:

It actually has a bigger population than San Francisco, which hasn't grown because there's no more room for housing in the city.

Yep, of the "big three" in the Bay Area, it has the largest population but is the least known. How many people know it's the 10th largest city in the country? The average person's top 10 most populous cities list probably still includes Cleveland.

DC doesn't really have a great skyline but it has pluses. A lot of people don't realize that building height in DC is limited to 110 feet.

Compared to Arlington (this section of skyline lies in the Rosslyn area), which is across the Potomac

Baltimore has more of what you'd consider a skyline

All are just amazing San Francisco, Seattle and Baltimore were really awesome!!! they are worth watching.

That's been my desktop background for a long time. Love that shot

One of my favorite things to do in SF on a nice, quiet night is to drive around to all the vista points around the City and just hang out and check out the views, even if I've seen them a million times. I've got a buddy who lives on Treasure Island too. Love sitting in the park behind his house drinking beers and relaxing with that view!

Even though we don't have mountains in the background and the CN Tower has slipped to I think the third highest free standing structure in the world, I'll always love Toronto's.

I have lived here all my life so I have seen the skyline develop over time. Here it is currently looking from the NE side:

The Duke Energy Building changes colors quite often, especially for any games at BofA Stadium. It also usually changes for holidays.

My legend dates back to the 12th Century you see. My legend is quite old. The 12th Century was a long time ago. It was summer and so cold from the snow because it was actually winter or maybe it was Monday. It could have been a Thursday or possibly a Saturday or was it Tuesday though it could have been Wednesday or a Monday.

I like Tampa's skyline, even if it's not much.

Currently, out of all of my travels, I really enjoyed Cincinnati (Stayed in KY, way better to just visit Cincinnati)

Not a fancy picture but I absolutely love Raleigh's skyline. I'm from Maryland and was never a fan of downtowns. But Raleigh is awesome to me. Its small, but its home now!

Not the most impressive but it's home so I like it:

I wish I could have found a decent pic from inside Target Field at dusk. That's a nice view of the skyline.

Found a decent one but not great...

While that view of Malibu is gorgeous, the problem is that if the camera points the other way you see your 1.11ty billion neighbors crammed onto the shoreline. Same for Yosemite, it's covered in tourists. I like places that don't have many/any people in them
