Thread: We're talking cars here! Best and worst Skylines

    1. 03-15-2012 09:23 AM #26
Not the most impressive but it's home so I like it:

I wish I could have found a decent pic from inside Target Field at dusk. That's a nice view of the skyline.

Found a decent one but not great...

While that view of Malibu is gorgeous, the problem is that if the camera points the other way you see your 1.11ty billion neighbors crammed onto the shoreline. Same for Yosemite, it's covered in tourists. I like places that don't have many/any people in them

I think Miami has an awesome skyline.

Orlando is decent for a small city.

Not to mention to get that view from your house you need about 11ty billion dollars.

I quite like the shoreline of Chicago

For all the sprawly-ness of the metro area, KC's downtown is alright. Up on the bluffs above the river confluance. Can't find very good pics That include any of the bridges.

All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others.

A river does wonders for a skyline.

Not the best nor the worst: Nashville

Cincinnati has always impressed me, especially coming up I-75 from the south, rounding the curve, and suddenly taking it all in.

Oh, and Skyline Chili... fvck yeah

I love the look of Vancouver's skyline though, despite never having been. Sea and mountains together just make it for me.

Hong Kong is my favorite, with San Francisco and Chicago taking the next spots.
