Hey guys, the plastic all around my rear hatch door is starting to come loose and apart and its rattling like crazy.

I was taking a look but could not quite figure out how the two plastic pieces covering the rear hatch come apart. Has anyone done it? Does anyone know how or has made a guide by chance?

    Thank you!

Look for a DIY on the rearview camera install, they have to take apart the inside of the hatch for that.

    I'm feeling helpful tonight

here's what a 30 sec google search yielded

The red circles show the metal clips, and the green ones show the two screws.
It's really easy, just take your time and pull firmly

Yeah, once you remove the two screws from the grab handle areas, you just have to have faith and pull like hell. work one side and then the other. Don't be surprised if one or two of the retaining clips don't pop out, you'll need to remove those with needle nose pliers.
