stop feeding the trolls rotella t6 5w 40 is perfect oil for your tdi. I can show you pics of a motor with 400k on it 10k miles oil changes and not a drop of sludge or build up in the motor and bearings still look good. 5w 40 is a better oil especially in the PD's

I have also run the white bottle non synthetic rottella 15-40 for over 60k in another tdi with no problems.

Run 5w40 over the 5w 30 A cam in a pd car will last much longer if you do.

lease car for 3 or so yrs, trade in, someone else leases certified used from dealer for a few years. sooner it ends up in junkyard; Real good plan. especially since a so called clean diesel runs on like 25% more fuel, costs more to make and formulate fuel, fuel has no lube, oh yea maybe your water pump is hooked up to your timing belt, Thats A Real Good 1
among other things such as useing more than 1 wire to run whole shabang. ie dam ed computers that also cost much more to research and maintain than just a shut off solenoid.

Ok, to be fair, the new diesels are over complicated and you almost need a associate degree in computer information systems to keep your car running, BUT WTF DOES THAT HAVE DO WITH OIL?!?!?!

Question: How many legs does a dog have if you call the tail a leg?
Answer: Usually 4, but, it really depends what type of oil is used in the owners VW tdi...

I personally swear by Rotella Synthetic diesel oil.

    hahahahaha...

i run delo400, or rotella 15w40 in my IDI diesel, and STRICTLY 3000 mile oil change intervals..

i run 10w40 in my gasser, 5-6000 mile intervals..

my dad runs rotella T6 in his 06 duramax, and hes got 370k miles, with ZERO issues.. 10k change intervals..

So what exactly is the point you are trying to make? You are absolutely all over the place. The only thing I can really see you say is that the recommended oil is bad for TDIs (5w40 synth). Which is 100% not true.

You are making zero sense... you say use the rec. Oil but that it sucks? And you've yet to give any reason why it does...

    Taking the bait...saw Jess's quote.

    1.5 million on 2 different diesels...BS

I drive about as much as anyone I know and I only do around 40,000 a year. Say I could do 1.5 times that and get 60,000 a year. In 10 years that would only be 600,00 on one car...do the math. Even if he were driving all day and got the cars with 100,000 each on them *but he said HE had the 1.5 on each not someon else* It would take almost 30 years of 60,000 per year to get 1.5 on ONE car. . . Might make sense as I think he is senile and that usually happens to old people.

It is possible to drive way more miles than that, but usually you are hauling something and get paid for it. Even so it takes those guys years to hit the million mile mark.

Normally I would say stop feeding the trolls and they go away, but this is funny so keep on
