looking at the Koni Yellows or Koni FSD for my car. i have Eibach springs on the stock shocks and struts now which lowered it nicely but its way too soft and spongy. what exactly is the difference with these?

Yellows are an adjustable - more sport oriented shock. You set them to where you want them and go.

The FSDs are a street shock, they dynamically adjust to road conditions, I've heard great things about them. However, not sure about how they handle lowered cars, you'll probably want to go with the part numbers for a GLI as they'll be designed for a lower stance (in either scenario)
