I decided to put together a build thread of the life of my '08 Rabbit. Progress will most likely be slow but plans do include turboing the car.

    Currently the car has:
    APR 93 oct tune
    Carbonio CAI
    Magnaflow Catback
Eurojet exhaust headers w/ highflow cat
27 mm APR rear sway bar
    H&R Sport Cup Kit
    Full BSH Mounts
    42DD Shifter bushings
    18x8 Raderwerks M-TEN 85
    Pirelli 225/40/18 PZero Nero
    Euro Jetta Front Bumper
    Votex Front Lip
Black Textured Mirror Caps and Door Handles

first day I got her brand new off the boat.

    LIMKV BBQ

first upgrade was a magna flow cutback
    followed by a Carbonio intake.

then proceeded to move forward with the black and red look by blacking out the tails and the emblems

then started with the trim, probably what I have changed the most. It is now plaid fabric

first set of rims, 18x8 rs4 reps

Finally got a H&R cup kit to cope with the massive wheel gap and improve performance. This worked well with the 27 mm rear sway.
    Before

    After

Cheap Bosnian fogs that were more for looks but set the car off nice

    Auto-x

Euro Jetta Bumper and black mirror caps.

aweful paint job that I was charged twice for and still didn't get it right.

    http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._2238005_n.jpg

On the way to SoWo '11

    Winter mode.
Finally got a set of racks

Finally a nice upgrade to the wheels for summer and textured door handles.
Also was able to upgrade to a Votex front lip

A nice visit from my buddy with his stg 2 SC R32

my same thoughts, wish I could find springs that went lower but if I could get the ass end down a little it'd be just right.

    the car looks good.

since it looks like you enjoy your autocross, why dont you get a nice set of coils so that you may be able to adjust them and get the best possible suspension config for the better experience/lap times

I've thought the same thing but I was thinking of going with the GLI skirts because they are a little more subtle.

Not that I can remember, where?

I've thought of it but the cup kit was nice because its put it in and forget it, already at a predetermined performance level. However lately I have been thinking about the coil route, just need the $$.

So I was able to acquire a Eurojet header w// high flow cat and will be installing it before SoWo, just waiting for all the hardware to arrive.

Hopefully I'll be able to get access to some lift time because I do not want to do this on my back in the driveway

Yeah I've definitely wanted to get my hands on some side skirts to help with the aggressive look, all in good time.

Finally installed the eurojet headers and so far I am really happy with them. The car revs faster and the engine is a much more lively, less bogged down. I'll post some pics and videos of how it sounds later today.

As promised here is a clip of the exhaust with the new headers installed. Extremely happy with the performance/sound of the car. Definitely made me decide to go all motor with the car, just love the rev happy all motor feel.
