My new toy...

After days of research iinto wireless ipod dock speaker systems.... I have decided on the Sonos Play 5.

Anyone have any opinions on this? I love how i can use my iphone or ipod as a player if im streamin online.

Any one else have any other suggestions before i make my $465 purchase

Do you have any other home theater equipment? If you have a receiver and speakers, there may be a way to stream your iDevice to it for less.

A receiver, good speakers and this.

I connect my android phone, my ipad, my laptop, and my my kid's ipod. They all play just fine.

Yup, something like that should work well.

There are about a million solutions these days for wireless streaming, so it's definitely better to work with what you already have than spend hundreds on all new stuff.

Yea, i have a NAD rec. tannoy speak. I connect my iphone tp it and stream radio. But its in the bAsement. And i realllllly did NOT want to buy bose as a means for a portable device.

I picked it up yesterday... It sounds really good! Love the sound. Very crisp clean sound at loud volumes. Having issue with the wireless aspect to it tho. Ill call cust. Supp. Tomrrw and be sorted out. Ill take a pic tomrrw.
