Thinking of going in a different direction. So, before I attempt to trade it in, I thought I would see if there is any interest here. I don't know what I am going to get next (so don't ask)...and there is NOTHING wrong with my car. Just ready to move on. I have another car to drive (2004 Grand Am GT ), so I will be fine for a while if my GTI sells.

My car is in excellent condition, interior, exterior, and mechanically. Showroom quality condition. Garage kept, non smoker, washed/waxed regularly, all scheduled services done by VW. 44,000 miles (90% highway miles). I just had the DSG service done, and new brake pads were installed last week. Tires have 90% tread left (Conti DWS).

Car has some mods, so I am just going to copy and paste the list of mods and the pictures from my build thread.

Price......................$20,000 as it sits now (all mods, and both sets of wheels inc

Optional Price..........$18,000 but I will remove the LED tails, USP/Borla exhaust, Carbonio intake, and I will keep one set of wheels. (The car will still be APR tuned, but I will get it changed from Stg 2 to Stg 1 since I will keep the USP downpipe. The car will still have all the cosmetic mods and the Koni/Eibach suspension WILL remain on the car.)

Warranty is still good to 60,000mi. I would think extended warranty could be purchased.

My car does have the Autobahn Package, however, push button start wasn't available on the 2010's.

This cars sticker price was $31,XXX and I have well over $5,000 invested in after market mods (exhaust, intake, suspension, APR tune, 2 sets of wheels, taillights, cosmetics, etc). That $5,000 doesn't include installation costs. All parts professionally installed by my local APR tuning shop (NextLevelTuning in Greensburg PA...my name is Pat, call and talk to them...ask for Sean,they know me, and my car.)

Car looks and drives great. Get compliments and second looks all the time. 275hp/315tq. Runs very strong.

I am 40 yrs old, not some 18 yr old street racer. This car is my daily driver. Well taken care of, and all scheduled maintenance done by my dealership. Just had the 40,000 DSG service done ($800!!)...new tires (90%)...new front brake pads. The car needs nothing.

Always garage kept, non smoker......etc.

Other than posting on the forums, I have not attempted to advertise or sell it. There is no FOR SALE sign in the window, and its not in Auto Trader or Craig's List, etc. I am driving my other car, so the mileage on the GTI will stay put until I sell it or trade it in sometime this summer.

Well, its up to InstantKarma. He drove from Wisconsin to Pittsburgh today just to inspect and test drive the car. Then be got back in his car and drove 10 hours BACK to Wisconsin.

Crazy.

It will take a week to get the title transferred and straighten out things with the DMV and finalize the bank loan, etc.

If he wants the car, its his. If not, hopefully he can at least let the rest of you know that the car is legit and as advertised.

I know there are others interested in the car, so I will update in a couple days.

It was an interesting transaction to say the least. Challenging. An emotional, financial, and geographical roller coaster ride haha. I'm glad it all worked out and I hope you enjoy the car.
