    Pure, dumb luck!

The "amazing" driver was the other guy - he managed to keep his going in a straight line!

Did everyone at the track, including the maintenance guy on the lawnmower, come to the driver's aid?

Might of had an idea of what he was doing. He didnt hit the brakes until the end of the 360, least he knows you have a better chance of finessing the skinny pedal with a awd car. Still some luck in there...either way

We drove down from Ohio with a couple guys trailering a MKIV Supra and a Corvette ... we were constantly on the lookout for the Hennessy guys trying to scavenge some parts off the cars

I watch that and think... AMAZING CAR! Driver had something going on, but still, that car is almost too good.

On a side note, not trying to derail thread, but any GT-R vids that were not so lucky?
Jack Daniels kicked my ass again last night.

I have been really wanting to pick up a Viper for the weekends and going into town but the shop is just over an hour away. A little too close for comfort.

There goes the "GTR drives itself" theory. This was in a straight line the car couldn't drive itself.

I think when the tail came out he became a passenger and got very lucky.

Edit, watched the video a few times. He does correct one way, then the other. If it was all skill he would have saved it from the spin all together.

    1/2 luck 1/2 skill.

Lately I have been testing "tip-in events". Just the tip-in. Just to see how it feels. Response time is typically on the order of 2-3 seconds. Sometimes the injection timing is a little off...

I actually agree. That girl isnt' a ten, but based on the pictures of and posts of the average TCL'er over the years, I would say she is way out of 99% of this forums league.

I could understand if she was busted, but she's not too bad

Te be fair- she is girl next door material, but she is being posed like she is a hot bikini model.
If it was just a picture of the girl (and not is some "look at this hot babe" angle/composition)- I am sure dude would have no issue.
But when being posed like a hot bikini model for an "artistic" car shot, you become fair game for some criticism.

Warranty is really only voided if the data shows you broke the car on a launch. The transmissions aren't fragile, the 09s had issues with first gear because the launches were so agressive with VDC off that they wheel hopped badly which will blow any gearbox. The transmissions are finicky though, and when stupid things like pressure sensors, or clutch seals break, instead of replacing the 50 dollar part, a whole new transmission gets installed
