Lately I have been testing "tip-in events". Just the tip-in. Just to see how it feels. Response time is typically on the order of 2-3 seconds. Sometimes the injection timing is a little off...

I actually agree. That girl isnt' a ten, but based on the pictures of and posts of the average TCL'er over the years, I would say she is way out of 99% of this forums league.

I could understand if she was busted, but she's not too bad

She looks like she just shot up in a tanning booth. And no, I'm not posting pics of my wife.

Te be fair- she is girl next door material, but she is being posed like she is a hot bikini model.
If it was just a picture of the girl (and not is some "look at this hot babe" angle/composition)- I am sure dude would have no issue.
But when being posed like a hot bikini model for an "artistic" car shot, you become fair game for some criticism.

Warranty is really only voided if the data shows you broke the car on a launch. The transmissions aren't fragile, the 09s had issues with first gear because the launches were so agressive with VDC off that they wheel hopped badly which will blow any gearbox. The transmissions are finicky though, and when stupid things like pressure sensors, or clutch seals break, instead of replacing the 50 dollar part, a whole new transmission gets installed

Refer to "Exhibit A" for an example of how to ruin a perfectly good picture of a smokin hot broad in front of a face melting sports car.

i was there in person, and from what i understand there was some track newb (my favorite of the day was the guy in the yellow f430 who couldn't figure out how to stage and then went on to run a 13.4x @ 109) who was running ac and letting the condensation drip from the condenser on to the track. That gtr unfortunetaly got into that water and with 700awhp the rest is history. There were stern reminders for the rest of the street classes to suffer the heat instead of putting people into walls.

I would still hit it like 3 or 4 times for good memories. But, damn, that's funny right there

Not exactly sticking, though. Running a bunch of high powered cars on street tires will tear up the line on a track, though.

there was next to nothing there on street tires, anything not on et streets or slicks was on some sort of drag radial (and even those were scarce).

It looks like the only reason he gets close the the left wall is he lets up on the brakes once he's spinning out. He literally almost rolls into that wall with his wheels turned. Good initial response but once he lost it it looked like he just gave up..

I stand corrected. Maybe the track was just prepped poorly?
