Still one of the more scenic roads in Washington, IMO.

I resent your implication that there's something wrong with butt plugs!

Ok on the serious side. What kinda food for the donations? Can we donate $$? Grocery store certificates? Im not gonna go sit down to a big fatty samich after dropping a cold can of string beans in the donation box. I have a 9yr old and the thought of him going hungry terrifies me.

Childhaven doesn't take food donations, cash or check only.

You can read more about that here:

So I'll ask again: are we really avoiding back roads this year. That is what made the drive kind of fun.

The map shows just going up I5 to Chuckanut in Burlington. A couple years ago we got off I5 in Stanwood and took the back roads to Chuckanut. I think he's wondering if the route still goes out the old Pioneer Highway.

I'm not sure why the map is different, but we will be getting off in Stanwood to take the back roads to Chuckanut.

    Two weeks away.

Saturday looks to be shaping up nicely.

Going to be a good day, and an even better day for a cruise to support Childhaven.

Anyone going to be doing a video of the Chuckanut part of the ride? I've always wanted to mount a video camera below my bumper and do an early morning drive.

I'd like to but unfortunately I don't have a video camera yet. Hoping to get a GoPRo in June. I'll most likely have my GF drive on the way up so I can attempt rolling shots.

I might film this one again with my GoPro. Map has been updated, just follow the link to Google Maps.

Cruise is just 5 days away! Don't forget, Childhaven only takes cash or check donations, so don't bring physical food or clothes.
