    I live in bellingham so I'll meet everyone up here then roll down chuckanut with everyone. Never been on a organized cruise on chuckanut in a car only motorcycles...sounds cool! I did come back up chuckanut yesterday coming back from Port townsend and the road had ALOT of rock slides. It will be better in May but just a heads up for everyone. As fun as this road is, it is also EXTREMLY dangerous!!

    If I'm not mistaken, the drive back isn't really a group thing or any sort od organized event- people tend to leave and head home on their own so if you're wanting to cruise chuckanut with the group, you'll want to meet south in the morning and head up from there rather than just meet up in Bellingham. In past years, drivers from Bellingham have met up on the side of the road along the cruise route and jumped in the back as everyone drove by. That could be an option for you.

    This sounds like a blast. I go to school in Bellingham so I know the area a little bit and ALL of the local car nuts are crazy about that road

    I'm from Bellingham too and might want to show up for this... If I have time I'll come down to Lynnwood. If not I might just take up the rear once everyone hits Chuckunut.

    hopefully they are riding the other direction.

    Edelman brings up a good point though. We won't be the only group out enjoying the roads that day. Be extra safe everyone.

    Do you have a link to this ride somewhere? Would be nice to know for future reference. The only drive I see going up Chuckanut after a quick search is the Cascade Bicycle Club, on June 30th.

    I live all of 15 min from chuckanut. Drove it on my bike yesterday (thumb down on the cops wtf)

    I'm not sure about driving all the way to lynnwood just to turn around and come back, if all else fails I'll be waiting on chuckanut drive with camera in hand when you come around the corner by the cop shop.

    **sorry, about your bike ride;
    http://www.active.com/cycling/burlin...ycle-ride-2012

    It starts at 7am which should put most of them off chuckanut drive. But there are ALWAYS a lot of bike riders on sunny days, as much as I love dragging a knee around some of the corners, in the spring/summer you just can't without being a danger to everyone. Drive safe and share the road (and watch out for falling/fallen debris along the cliffs).

    I think more importantly is that we remember that this is a charity cruise. Bring whatever car you want, but more importantly bring your "donating" spirit...
