Further review - much flatter through turns also. Notacible improvement. Reminds me of my lowered GTI. Car feels much lighter through turns also since it's not swaying/leaning as much... Nice job H&R!

Hey guys,
I just installed the H&R rear sway bar on my S4... I noticed immediately much more responsive steering - especially at higher speeds, smaller inputs needed...
I also noticed significantly sharper turn in on onramps and curves....
And to my surprise the whole car actually feels tighter and stiffer. For the $250 plus install I happy with the improvements - bang for buck deff recommended...
ECS Tuning is selling it for $237 - http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B8_S4-...Bar/ES1876408/
But I got mine from tirerack... they matched the price for me.

Oh wow - i'll be pretty upset if that's the case. They seem to be using a new bushing that doesn't need any adjustment or lube... My friend's had his in for a while with no issues...
Were you getting knocking or something? How did you konw it had slid?

Because there's a groove where the bracket attached. When I turn a little hard or go over a large bump at an angle it slip. Once it slipped you would hear this clunk sound where the bracket is loose. If I don't fix it right away I would loose the bolt eventually. It's annoying.

I'll try and see if I can take a picture - the clamps are much better on this one - no chance of slipping.
I have been impressed. The only drawback is that the car has become so directionally stiff that the steering will sometimes slightly pull to one side or the other when there are grooves in the road. I did not notice this before I installed the sway bar. It's a VERY subtle drawback but thought I'd mention.
Handling is improved, turn in is sharper and overall road hold feels firmer.

Not lowered no. I actually am happy with the ride/comfort. If I did lower it later I'd probably look at just eibach springs - I've heard good reviews.

If you really want to help your boat of a stock S4, you should install the EuroCode Alu Kreuz. It is an amazing upgrade to the stock subframe brace.

Yeah I've seen it...
Something you'd really notice around town? Or something more noticable on the track?
