Almost got the idle situation fixed it'll sit in my driveway now and idle just fine but when I took out for a little drive it would die anytime I hit the clutch..like instantly. Also when I turn my key my oil light flashes and my oil temp maxes out no matter what temperature it is outside..yet it works fine while running..My book said that light could mean idle issues which would explain my clutch, it could be shorts which would explain why my battery dies insanely fast, and it says like low oil or something stupid but thats fine. Any ideas on this clutch issue would be greatly appreciated..I feel like I'm getting closer to having my daily driver being driven daily...

Possible your oil pump isn't pumping oil?
    Insert witty comment here.

    - OK, so the car starts and idles in the driveway just fine. What kind of behavior does it do when you Rev it up a little (in Neutral)?

but when I took out for a little drive it would die anytime I hit the clutch..like instantly.
    - OK now, wait. Put the car in gear, let off the clutch... what happens? Are you stalling all the time in 1st gear?

    - Are you Sure you are in 1st gear? (It is possible to be in 3rd by mistake, either though linkage/bushing wear or maladjustment.)

Also when I turn my key my oil light flashes and my oil temp maxes out no matter what temperature it is outside..yet it works fine while running..
So if I understand you right it means you are in the Run position (Ign ON) but not yet turned to Start. (right?)

My book said that light could mean idle issues which would explain my clutch, it could be shorts which would explain why my battery dies insanely fast,
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Now you have my full attention. You have a loooot of stuff going on here.

and it says like low oil or something stupid but thats fine. Any ideas on this clutch issue would be greatly appreciated..I feel like I'm getting closer to having my daily driver being driven daily...

Usually when its idling it will float a lot and other times it wont..it might go from 1000 down to 500 and then shoot back up to 1000. and yes its when it is in neutral, sometimes when I rev it up it'll drop down too far and shut off but if i leave it alone it usually stays on for like 15-20 mins before it starts idling REALLY rough and then shuts off.

Yes i'm sure i'm in first because first gear is at a 45 degree angle towards reverse lol i have to push down about halfway and go at a \ type angle and thats first 3rd is straight up..i learned the hard way. all gears are nice and smooth though and if i'm just sitting there and push the clutch in its fine its when i'm driving and try to shift like clutch in to go from any gear to any gear up or down..does not care what gear i'm in it just dies..doesn't like go rough first or anything just dies..usually bump start it when i put it in what ever gear i was going into..it'll start right back up but it dies...

Yes right before I turn it on when its at I guess you could call the accessory position..yes just on..it flashes and the gauge maxes out and then i start it and it goes away..Idk if they just do that or if that really means theres an issue.

as for the battery its like my alternator isn't charging it but when its on and running there is power going into it..i checked..also had my alternator checked at autozone they said it was fine. I think i need to replace my battery though because my charger gives me 2 codes..fo5 and fo6 (http://www.batterychargers.com/Docum...01038WB-01.pdf) its from 06 but when i had them check it at autozone he said it was just fine even though when i'm charging it it'll just lose power sitting there..usually when i'm out it'll end up dieing and i'll have to come home with it and charge it and then go back to the car and put it in so i can drive it home..I checked all my fuses an they are fine..my ground cable is iffy as hell looking but i made a makeshift ground straght to the block so its not that..

Thanks for the help so far..hopefully we can solve this issue. as for the 1st gear being in a weird spot..no worries just needs to be adjusted and it doesn't bother me that much..they all go in nice and smooth and the only rough thing about it is this clutch issue..the clutch itself doesn't seem to have any roughness in it when engaged so i'm almost thinking it could be like a vacuum leak or something..i'm not 100% obviously...uhhh I think thats all your questions

it seems to be although my driveway is somewhat steep so after idleing for a while it might just be kinda hard to pull all the fuel/oil up after a while. Someone else told me it could be injectors...didn't get that far yet still looking for the simpleton stuff lol

tested the fuel pump and it wasn't pumping anything then we made a wire with a fuse in it and it worked fine..i'm thinkin a lot of the problem is the fuel pump relay so I'm a get one tomorrow and see if that solves most of my issues.

Looks like the problem was solved with a fuel pump relay

Did not solve my clutch issue though. It still dies as soon as I hit the clutch to slow down for a stop sign. Can't seem to find a solid conclusion for that..
