WTB: your beater, mk3 or older

I am currently studying in the UK for a semester, and sold my car to offset the costs. Now, I need a car when I get back to the states. I'm looking to spend less than $1000. Car needs the bare minimal. If it runs and drives and isn't too rusty, I'll buy it.

A/C, Power Steering, Full Interior - I don't care for these things. Pretty much, beater with a heater (and that doesn't even matter, I have all summer to replace it).

Help me out guys, I am also willing to go junkyarding here for anyone who aids me in this. If I can fit it in my case, I'll grab it. Anything bigger I can ship at your expense.
