Solid 24 valve E30. Who wants to take it to the next level....

FS: 1987 BMW 325, M52B28. Price is $5900. PM me for a phone number if you'd like to speak to me about the car. Please read the whole post:
    *Alpine/black
*Vinyl sport seats. Passenger seat is in great shape. Driver's seat has a crack on the right bolster, and tears in the left bolster and left thigh support. Rear seat is in great shape.
*Grey carpet is in good shape.
    *ZF transmission
*OBD1 converted with M50 manifold and super sprint rep headers.
    *Work heat and COLD A/C.
    *All aluminum radiator.
    *Rogue short shifter.
    *325LSD
    * Manual steering rack.
*Sunroof works: it slides all the way back and tilts. It could use a new seal for better cosmetics.
*Windows work, as do the power mirrors.
*Gauge cluster works, including the odometer.
    *Crack-free dash.
*Audi brake booster (excellent pedal feel).
*Powerslot rear rotors. Brakes overall are in good shape.
*Car will come with 17x7 Mille Miglia wheels with nearly new tires. RSs available separately.
**** Car is remarkably rust free AND appears to have no visible evidence of significant collision damage. I don't know where it has spent most of its life, but I doubt that it hasn't seen salt. The undercarriage looks great as does the rest of the car in terms of rust.
***The car drives very well. It tracks straight, the ride is a good compromise between ride and handling and is overall great to drive.

    Recent work:
-All four doors had dents. They were swapped for four doors in much better shape. However, the paint on the doors is slightly off from the rest of the car due to a repaint (on the doors). The jams match the rest of the body perfectly. Buyer is free to take the old doors if they want them for some reason.
    -New tweeter pods.
    -Window motors replaced.
    -New center support bearing.
    -GE/KYB coilovers 450/650 installed.
    -New tie rods, endlinks, LCABS
    -Oil change.
-Refurbished US elipsoids with driver's high beam delete to feed cold air to the air filter. (High beam can easily be replaced). On a side note, this may or may not be actually aiding in producing HP. My butt dyno says yes, but who knows...
    -Bumpers tucked and painted.
    -Tails were sanded and painted.
    -Rust free sunroof panel installed.
-Very good condition black door cards installed.
-Missing bushings added in the shifter selector rod.
-Racing dynamics front valance installed. I have the foglights for this but they need a few hours of work. They are 100% refurbishable. This is important because ZKW discontinued this model.
    -Great condition glovebox installed.

Overall the car is very solid. It is a great base waiting for someone to take it to the next level. Having said that, let's go over some of the issues to be addressed: (Please keep in mind that I'm fully aware that I could fix these items however, if I did so, I would ask more for the car. I'm making an effort to sell the car in very drivable shape while keeping it within the budget of a larger percentage of the enthusiast population.)

*I would paint the car if I were keeping it. The car is presentable as is. The paint is in decent shape. However, the new doors are a couple of shades off from the rest of the car.

*When installing the new CSB and shifter bushings, a rattle developed near the guibo and despite marking the drive shaft, there is a vibration between 22-30 mph. I will be attempting to fix this by realigning the DS and possibly installing a stock E36 shifter.

*Needs new headlight switch. Current switch does not turn on the low beams. High beam bulbs are currently installed in the low beam projectors in order to have lights. Basically the high car has no high beam with the malfunctioning switch.

*If you want the car lower, you'd have to shorten the front housings. The rear can go another two inches down, approximately. If you are going lower, you'd want to do some combination of adding toe/camber adjust and/or subframe relocation bushings.

*I would add a rear valance to balance how low the RD front valance is. The car will look more complete I think.

*There are about 3-4 small dents and dings in the car. One on each quarter near the trunk lid, one under the driver side tail, and I believe one on a door.

*Needs a non-airbag under dash panel.

Questions you may be inclined to ask me:

    1. Why is it for sale? I have four BMWs including two E30s and I can't just leave a car alone and drive it. I continually pour money into them and that's ridiculous when you have four cars. Therefore, one, at least, needs to go. Two aren't in saleable shape and the one that is I won't be selling. That leaves this car.

    2. Will I take vehicle trades? I will consider all trades but ONLY to help a fellow enthusiast get in the car. Please understand I have no use for your vehicle and will be putting it up for sale as soon as practicable.

    3. Will I take trades for anything else? I have two E36 M3s and a 91 318is I'm keeping. If you have high quality performance parts for them (split wheels especially), I'd entertain those trades.

    4. How many miles on the swap? Previous owner reports the drivetrain came from a 1999 328is with 90kish miles. If that's true, 110k would be a safe bet. The car runs great.

    5. Where is the car located? Southeast Florida. I'm 1.5 hours southeast of Orlando and less than an hour north of West Palm Beach.

    6. Have I sold vehicles or other large item before on forums? I've been on VWvortex, BFC, S14.net, Zilvia.net, as well as several other forums beginning in 2001. You won't find ONE thread with a buyer or seller complaining about how I have conducted myself during a transaction.

On to the pictures... (Video will be posted soon.)

    I never received a PM...

It's a great car and ironically the funds from me selling the Audi are going into motor swapping my current e30. We could save each other the effort!

    haha

I just reread my initial post. I meant to say: "I doubt that it HAS seen salt." I have no indication that this car has been exposed to road salt... the underside of the car looks great.

Also, I added a Matt B black suede shift boot and emergency brake boot since the ad was posted.

Prospective buyer may not work out. Still on the market.

If you're talking about other than the Milles.. sure. You'd need to bring something for the car to roll on.
