They are in fact that hard to find. U don't wanna know what I paid for this one. Haha a new cover, no support just a shell runs 800-1k. Used in good shape with support and no grills or filler plate runs $600 if Ur lucky. Usually 800.

They are in such demand because every a4 owner wants them and every s4 owner needs a new one because they trash them. So the used market is very difficult to find one in good shape. And yes oem rs4 ones are a ton. And then 800 to get it shipped to the states. I'm not a fan of the rs4 ones really. :/ but I do want a euro s4 rear which I need like 1100 and then. 800 to ship.

You are dumb comparing headlights, radiator support, and grille to a bumper cover. PLUS a Rallye Golf is 23 years old!

    Get of my back Gary.

I did pay $500 for a Vento front bumper cover. 2 actually.

This proves that owning MK3's make you the dumbest people ever!

Do you honestly think a $70000 European only cars bumper is going to be cheap?

Since you are obviously as dumb a zacher now, here is link to what a mans bumper costs

Not just a bumper cover, a bumport support and fog lights as well which the fogs alone sell for 100 a piece.

You must be a little boy though, because you don't own a euro rs6 cover. Three thousand dollars for a plastic bumper is ludicrous and you know this.

I'm not going to continue to bicker about this.

    Nonsense!

    More bickering please. Fully entertaining.

Also, I have a sweet Mk3 bumper cover, but it's not for sale. Only a few cracks, one gouge & some chips. But again, it's not for sale.

Euro RS6 bumpers are the same thing as US RS6 bumpers

But either way, you need all the same parts for a b5 to convert to an RS4 bumper, shocks, grilles, waher covers, etc

Its not hard math retard, if your car cost 15k new your mk3 bumper is dirt cheap and still a piece of crap, if you car cost 80k your RS6 bumper is going to cost alot

Show me where to buy one, Ill wait

So mid section of Phaeton bumper cover is $740, and takes 6 more pieces to make complete which total to $1800

And that doesnt include grilles, park sensors, or headlight washers. Guess what, back up to that 3k range to replace a bumper if it was hit

    SO SIT DOWN

LOL. Sorry OP, this is why I didn't want to continue to bicker.

$740 is list, they are $541. You and your inflated dealership prices. That low price is good for covers with or without the parking sensors. And we were talking about covers only, not all the components boss. Vento front bumper covers are $579 just for the cover alone. This is hilarious.

Bumper looks good filled and shaved with grille surrounds

And nice 6spd score, B5's drive soooo much better with the 4.11 r/p instead of the 5spd ratio
