Your workmanship and attention to detail is amazing.

I should have replaced the wheel arch like you did, but looks like i'll have to fab metal for mine.

Cheers mate....I had to do some fabricating on the inner arches. The wheel arches themselves are not original parts and only cost my like £20 each off ebay in the UK.

Just a wee update....was hoping to have in primer but has needed more prep work than I anticipated. Done a mock up of the front end as nothing fitted. The way the wings met the headlamps and bottom of the grille was rubbish but all sorted now.

    Work round rear lights done....

Thats it for now but next update will show this all primered!!

Got some things painted.....Not the best pics but lack space to store all these parts.

A few imperfection and sh*t in the paint but took 4 good coats and going to wet sand it all and polish over the next week so should look good.

    Some recent parts I aquired....

    More updated soon!!

Ok so got the drivers door and tailgate flattened and fitted and got her outside for some pics.

Bonnet has a couple of issues as can still see some of my prep work through it, not sure what happened there but they are really hard to see. Hopefully they will come out with a sanding block but other than that the finish here is superb.

Rear quarters turned out not bad but these are what needs the most attention. Had to flat it back a fair bit and still some scratches visible but will sort that out. the white here is still a bit flat but will come up good. Its really hard to get pics of the flaws.

    Some other shots....

Think I will paint the tops of the bumpers again as there is a couple of imperfections in my smoothing job that i'm not happy with but its good enough for now. Also trial fitted the rear lights I have.

    Original Hellas....

    Hella blues.....

    And the crystal clear/reds...

I like those ones the best just now so left them in and packed her away for the night!!

Gonna flatten the front bumper and fit that tommorow. Still need to paint my grille and boot plinth and will do them at the weekend.

Well the Mk3 passed its MOT test today and is now legally on the road. Not all good through as my gearbox has a really noisy reverse so will have to change that. We tiny coolant leak from the hard line that runs round the side of the engine. Took some quick pics, I have only driven back from the mot station and parked it up. Drives really well!! Still far from finished though, more mods to come!!

    More photos soon!!
