FEELER: 1987 turbo diesel jetta coupe

I picked this car up a few months ago with intentions of doing some maintnence and daily driving it, well I just don't see myself having the time to do it this summer. I don't have the title right now but I should soon, but for the time being it is being sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY. The body has almost no rust with the exception of a few dime size spots of surface rust, the interior is pretty rough, I started pulling the carpet out, it was pretty dirty. Right now it has a set of newer mk2 front seats and stock rears in it but no rear carpet. The engine runs good despite having 460k on it. The previous owner told me it had had extensive engine work through the years. I believe the fuel line is air locked right now but I should have that sorted out in the next few day's. It needs brake work, and isn't safe to drive until they have been repaired. The suspension is very, very bouncy. And as per forum rules I'd like to get $1800 for it, I'd consider trades as long as it has a title. Feel free to ask anything I might have missed.

Forgot I have a set of red stripe bumper that go with it, they're faded but will come right back with a heat gun. And a set of brand new e-codes from bfi.

Ryan, you should mention the car came from Kansas/Colorado and was only on the road here in New England briefly so it's not been subjected to our road salt. Also that the guy you bought it from owned it since 1987/1988.

Sadly it will never compare to the monster the GTI is going to be But I doubt the GTI will get anywhere near the 45mpg or so the coupe should manage So who wants a fuel friendly daily?
