So I have big plans for my passat and this thread is a good way for me to keep everything in one thread and allow for guys to come bash on the things I've done

So let's start from the beginning. I've had my 2010 passat now for about 2 years. I've had lots of fun modding it up to this point and have met a number of great guys. Here's a pic from the very beginning. It rolled out of the showroom with 11miles and went straight for tint at the dealer. Then it came home

I was very fortunate to have gotten my passat at the time because many of the parts from VW were on closeout. I bought DG springs for $35, base bars for $27, Rline dead pedal for $15, and door sills for $20. Not bad at all.

I tackled the springs install at 4k miles... let the modding begin

not too long after that I got APR stage 1. I was happy with it for a good 2 months and decided to go stage 2. I went through a whole fiasco with the USP dp that I bought... I just don't wanna talk about it haha.



Hids went in




then came the door sills and dead pedal




then wrapped the roof



now i wanted an intake and forge hooked me up with a kit. I helped fab up the side scoop for passat/cc




not too long after, I ripped apart my car to install a sub. jl 12w3




I found a rain sensor and auto dim mirror at a junkyard for $75 shipped... that was a pain in the azz project



then i got my car up on a dyno... and decided that apr sucks

I started to get bored so now i just got parts for the hell of it. got the awe turbo outlet pipe (top)




now its time for a boost gauge and while i was at it, I just got the awe dv to install at once. got a bsh tap with 2 taps






I blew my sub so I got this monster of a sub... a 30 pounder.. recommended by Bill lol



Then I found a deal on a BB catback exhaust that I couldnt pass up. I also decided to powdercoat my wheels.




during black friday i ordered a black grill and get it painted and clear bra'd




last xmas i got myself a present! kw v2 coilovers

Wow, damn glad you linked that bit with the APR dyno runs... the shop I'm going to to get my Uni 1+ has a mustang dyno as well, I really hate those. Makes me reconsider paying to get any dyno runs after the tune is done... may make me cry.

if you get tuned, dont dyno for at least 2 weeks. you wnt to let the computer adapt

Nice summary. Is there another thread with pics of the sub installs, either the JL or the JBL? I'm wondering if you just put it in a box in the trunk (like me) or if you were more creative.

Thanks lol I realized I missed a few parts haha.

As for the sub install, I just have it in a box in the trunk and the amp on the box. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. When I can open trunk I'll take some pics of that and my new low lol. I can't open trunk or move the car until my ecu get here

I got the sticker stretched to fit the whole side of the car

and I won't be home til 8 my time and I can't drive the car hard lol. because of the drop, I need an alignment bad

Beautiful car and amazing work Track! I always wanted to Black out the chrome! Are you going to wrap the chrome trim as well to totally de-chrome her? I think it would only look better. Love the roof wrap!

Got my ECU FINALLY!!!!! wheels when on and coilovers adjusted(for the most part). let me know what you guys think about the wheels and height. again, these are VMR V705. enjoy the pics!
