Thread: DIY? plate filler and fog light

  1. 03-22-2012 10:58 AM #1
yes i have searched multiple forums as well... B8 S4 forums are kinda dead or there's people doing huge build threads... very little in between.

I need to remove the front plate filler without breaking clips and using the one I purchased it still feels like I'm going to break something. Is there a DIY that i cant find?

Also want to replace my fog bulbs and need to figure out the easiest way to remove the fog grills?

    Any help would be appreciated

Easiest way to replace fogs is to go through the wheel well. Infront of each wheel on the lower front portion there is a hex screw, remove it and pull back the liner then use a flashlight and reach in and grab the back of the fog. You wll be able to turn it a quarter turn to unlock it and remove the bulb and housing... very simple from behind.

You can also do it from the grill which is simple, but chances are more likely to break a plastic clip.

I'm actually thinking, you may only be able to access the fog from the wheel well on the passenger side.

I followed this DIY and had no issues...
