color matched interior accents and bezels

I have a NB for sale and wondered if this is a factory option or aftermarket.[IMG]CIMG0650[/IMG]
I do not know if the image will appear. The console, stereo, door handles, ac duct bezels etc. are all color matched to the exterior.

You need to upload the picture to photobucket or other image hosting site.

And to my knowledge, that would be a custom job.

I saw a newer model in here with some dealer installed similar color matched components, so maybe this was dealer added.

Well the new Beetle on some models have a color matched dash. That looks like a custom job to me. Lots of people color match interior pieces themselves. And honestly, it looks like they just attached the yellow on, rather than painted. I think painted looks way better.

Now that you mention it I just checked and it does appear that this is an adhesive kit that is just layed over the parts. It was installed well and therefore is holding up well and the prospects are liking it. It was not a dealer thing probably then. Thanks again for your input.
