Last year I was running a consistent 11.6-11.7 at 119-120. These numbers were at roughly 390-400whp, dependent on conditions.

    Platform: 2006 mkv gti DSG

Last years setup was as follows:
-stock FSI engine with an ATP 3071r
    -DSG at 5k launch
    -24.5x9x15 MH slicks
    -400whp (dynoed)

    This years setup
-fully built engine with a comp 5858
    -same DSG setup
    -same slicks
    -~520whp (dynoed on same dyno)

Power band is a little later, but I am revving higher now so it is a moot point.

Being as I was going mid 11s last year, would it be fair to assume 10s this year? I know there is only one way to find out for sure.... just trying to get an idea before I hit the track.

Also, any thoughts on a decent harness to fit on stock seats?

Cant wait to see what you pull with the DSG unit. Is the DSG Auto all stock?

Dang I didn't realize the DSG can hold that amount of power with a stock unit. That gives me some ideas since I have an extra turbo laying around and a Jetta just asking frr it.

There's a guy in the Corrado forums that has a DSG in his Corrado.

Nice to see other VW automatic's out there making a name fr itself. I can't wait to see some final results keep me/us updated.

Running stock axles? My turbo is starting to go bad, and this thread has given me a terrible idea.

11.3@126 on a **** track.... 2.0 60 foot....and as the day went on the track got worse and worse. Started seeing 2.3 60's on 9 psi 9 inch slicks and my et's went to high 11s and even 12.0. The last run of the day, the car literally rolled smoke til 1/8th mile.

trying again Wednesday at a better track. Also, added 2 step and hopefully will have my slicks screwed to the wheels by then...as I was getting nearly an inch of bead travel per pass
