Hey everyone,

I have been saying I was going to buy one for awhile and today I finally did it. I got a Candy White/Titan Black 6spd Passat TDI SE. I'm coming from a 4 door MKV GTI that looked like this:

Here's the new car:

I'm going to try and refrain from doing any major modifications for at least a month..... lol
I do plan on adding these before SOWO:

Decided to do some "work" today. Nothing too crazy but cleaning it up a bit

Hey bro I have a question for u??? Would the mk6 gli Coilovers work with are car??? I'm trying to go with raceland altimo Coilovers 3.5 drop all around but of coarse no b7 or b6 applications :/

That was one of the selling points for me. Had to be a sedan and had to have MkV suspension.

Air house 2's in the rear and finally got my Koni's in. It helped. As far as the fronts, I bought a set of xl's to try and see if that makes a dif. We'll see.

Alright so here is the belated answer to your question:

What setup do you have?
My set up is bagyard bomber front struts, bagyard classic rears, Accuair E-level management, 5-gallon tank, Koni yellow shocks, and dual 400 vivair compressors.

*Just as a FYI for anyone wanting to go air. If you use bagyard bomber front struts(I don't know about the clearance of airlift XLs) there is a plate at the bottom of the bag. It decreases the room you have for higher offset wheels and bigger tires. My wheels now are 19x8.5 et45, 225/40 tires and I have to run a spacer. If I just put the wheel on the car, the tire will be touching the plate. The factory 17s will fit without a spacer but the tire is really close to the plate.*

How is the ride?
From the stock ride it is completely different. The stock ride was very soft and comfy, with the air ride it is a tad bit rougher but no biggie for me. I mean lowering your car usually will make the ride a bit stiffer so just keep that in mind.

Love your mods!!!!! Where did you purchase the low beam super white headlight bulbs and the license plate bulbs? I have a 2012 tiguan LE. I installed LED plate lights with resisters and keep getting a bulb out error. My 2010 tiguan with these bulbs didnt have a problem, maybe resister went bad.

Well just putting in the fogs is super easy. Just look for the screws holding in the parts, simple. As far as the wiring, I have been too lazy to wire them up yet but I should be doing that soon and I'll put an update up.
