Air house 2's in the rear and finally got my Koni's in. It helped. As far as the fronts, I bought a set of xl's to try and see if that makes a dif. We'll see.
Just dropped my wheels off, so i'll be part of the white on white club

I'll try and get those pictures of the different heights tomorrow and answer the question about ride quality and stuff along with going air but just quickly I test fitted my old wheels today. I know they are 17s, which are too small, but they are 9" wide and et24 so now I know I have room to play with on the next set of wheels. Enjoy.

I wish I could use them but too small. That guy contacted me but I'm not really trying to sell them. The drive down to SOWO was alright, no problems. One of my rear bags was coming loose though. Quick tighten and everything is aye-ok! How's your car doing?

Alright so here is the belated answer to your question:

What setup do you have?
My set up is bagyard bomber front struts, bagyard classic rears, Accuair E-level management, 5-gallon tank, Koni yellow shocks, and dual 400 vivair compressors.

*Just as a FYI for anyone wanting to go air. If you use bagyard bomber front struts(I don't know about the clearance of airlift XLs) there is a plate at the bottom of the bag. It decreases the room you have for higher offset wheels and bigger tires. My wheels now are 19x8.5 et45, 225/40 tires and I have to run a spacer. If I just put the wheel on the car, the tire will be touching the plate. The factory 17s will fit without a spacer but the tire is really close to the plate.*

How is the ride?
From the stock ride it is completely different. The stock ride was very soft and comfy, with the air ride it is a tad bit rougher but no biggie for me. I mean lowering your car usually will make the ride a bit stiffer so just keep that in mind.

Do it! We need more B7s on air... plus the independent rear suspension is nice

haha that's what I do and it makes your life so much easier.

I just got my wheels back from powdering white and he said not to wax them.... I hope they are not a pain to clean.....

From my experience with powdercoat just using soap and water regularly you'll be fine.

I have been weighing the idea of getting on of these for a while. Must say this makes me want to get a B7 Passat TDI, but after doing some more thinking I think I am going to just stay in the JSW game for now.


P.S. Your car is hot. I love those wheels just iffy on the center caps being silver, but love the wheels anyway. Also not bashing but I think the TDI badge on the car is crocked.

I thought about getting a tdi wagon but I didn't like their front ends. Plus I the passats seem to have more space in the wheel wells so I can go more aggressive .
Oh and I removed the tdi badge, as it looked pretty much out of place so the rear is all clean.
