    Just for reference on the market, I just purchased a black 1999 Jetta GLX VR6 Auto with 206,000 km on it (45,000 more than yours) for $4,200 including the safety, emissions test so you're not at all out to lunch on your car. There was another one a couple weeks ago that was in the ballpark too. The only thing I can really think of is your leather looks like it's in pretty bad shape, have you tried a leather conditioner on it?

    it's funny how different things come out on the pictures, when I took them I hadn't cleaned the seats at all so there was quite a bit of dust on them but the same dust is hardly noticeable in person. What surprises me the most is that the previous owner either didn't weigh much or took good care of the seats because there's hardly any wear on them.
