Front deflector for only $30

I checked with the parts rep at my local dealership and he said that this part number will fit all model years for VW EOS... it is the pop-up front wind deflector. Go to www.vwparts.com and then click on the outlet center tab. For $30 I thought it might be good to have a spare. I'm not sure how many are left in inventory... at one point it was 43, but now that I have one coming, there can't be any more than 42 available.

It looks like the site only sells to dealers. When I click for a local online store the price is the retail $250 price. How does it work to get the $29 price?

I usually email the parts guy from my local dealer with the information on the vwparts.com website. He orders the part and when it comes in 3 days later I pick it up for the reduced price listed on the website.

By now though they may be out of stock on these - can't say for sure.

My local dealership part department and their manager is a bunch of idiots!! I can't trust them to order any part and they consistently lie to cover up their incompetence. I've even contacted VW corporate about the problem. I need another dealership to work through-- any suggestions??
