    United Motorsports Ko4 software for Fsi

    Anyone using the United Motorsports Ko4 software for fsi? I wanted to try something different than the big three ko4 tunes. I checked their website. The state 280whp 280tq. That seems a little low. I'm looking for any end user input.

    Seems a bit low yes, but dyno readings are all over the place due to type. I got 285whp and 363ft*lb when I had lower actual boost with my giac remap though. BTW, there are 4 big tuners in the US not 3. REVO, UNITRONIC, GIAC, and APR.

    Honestly, I wouldn't consider giac unless I had tsi ko4 or vr6. Everyone I know except for one that had the giac x file hated it. That is the reason I said big three.

    i'm running UM K04 file. the car runs hard as ****!!! i know the website says 280/280 with 20-21psi. i'm running solid 25psi WOT til about 4500rpm. then it drops off. Jeff REALLY knows what he's doing when it comes to VAG cars. basically what i'm saying is...forget the "big" 4 companies and give UM a call.

    also...UM will fully customize a tune for you. for example...when you get upgraded rods, lower CR pistins, cams and so on. the others only have cookie cutter tunes with little to no options

    I followed his work with the 8 valves and VRs, and i'm following his work into the 2.0T world
