    Okay, so I laughed too.

It's good to see someone who doesn't take himself too seriously!

Great! Now I want a plastic-look leather jacket. Would not watch again.
A list of mods, all cars ever owned and something cribbed from a book, song and/or movie were all just here. Sorry you missed out on my unique, snowflake-like individuality.

True. I didn't mention whether the car was stock or not. Not that I would chip it. Such as with an APR stage 1 flash. Not me. That would be potentailly void the warranty

Thanks. I started in earnest to make a real review. Then I thought 'screw it, I want to have fun with this', just as you said.

I got mine exactly a month before you. It's been perfect so far. No mechanical issues or rattles. I have the lightest variant (2 door, manual, no sunroof) so it's really light on its feet. Love driving every minute of it.

How's your GTI treated you so far?

Not an issue (*knock on wood*) and I absolutely love it. (it's a 4-door manual conv + sunroof)

The only thing I like about going to work is that I get to drive my car.

The test of the machine is the satisfaction it gives you. There isn't any other test. If the machine produces tranquility it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed.

Yeah, I find myself finding excuses to run errands just to drive it. Fun and productive.

I couldn't see it at work, but the video was everything I'd thought it would be and more...

Seriously though, why do some want to find 'fault' 'in this fun video?

I liked the 1st gear booooooosssst!

Thanks. I'm guessing those who 'fault' the video either don't get sarcasm or are simply annoyed by me like an idiot.

Regardless people on the whole really seem to like the video. I'm just glad to share.

Is YouTube blocked at your work?

Unfortunately it is blocked. So is eBay.

Which means that besides trolling around on TCL/Vortex, I actually find time to work.

I thought it was pretty funny. And, it made me want to go drive my GTI; even though it's definitely not chipped, we have very few curvy roads around here , and my leather-look plastic jacket no longer fits

Count me in the, "simply not funny" camp, but I can see where you had fun, so what else really matters. If we all did nothing except what would please everyone else, literally nothing would ever get done.
