    07-02-12: Just installed a new rear engine seal, clutch and pressure plate. The shifting problem has been corrected.

    1984 VW GTI, 5 speed. The paint is a bit faded but little to no rust, this a pretty solid car. There are a few dings and dents but nothing major. I have an extra door, rear hatch and a set of blue GTI seats (front) and blue GTI dash thats in great shape.

    The tear drop rims are also in great shape with good tires.

    The engine runs great, it a 1.8. The PO told me the engine was rebuilt and has a performance cam in it. It also has a header with a fairly new exhaust.

    Issues:
    The Tachometer works sometimes...
    The paint is faded...

    Im asking $1850 OBO

    Are the set of blue seats for sale ? I assume they are the standard blue with red stripes in the 83/84 GTi's. Could you send a few pictures of them as well as the rear hatch. I am restoring my 84 and could use these pieces. thanks
