Thread: Completed BMW project! Pics inside!

    Some of you may of kept up on my build thread for my 1976 R90/6. I thought I would start a new thread for the completed project. Just finished licensing it and insuring it this past week and it is good to go.

    VERY nice!

    My brother has a 1974 90/6, also white, but dressed up like an S with a bikini fairing and a light blue frame. Also a very handsome bike.

    I know you said you're finished, but if you feel like tinkering a little further, converting the front brakes to dual discs is a common upgrade that results in much better stopping power and feel (although nothing like modern bikes).

    That's some really nice work. The only thing I would change is to add some black pinstriping in the original pattern, but it looks very good "clean" as well.

    That cleaned up real nice!
    Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.
