You've got a nice ride for sale here, Just my .02c though if I were to spend 10k on a mk1 gti modded or not mine would go here.

I mean as an earlier poster had mentioned at least justify where your money has gone and why the price is so high, I'd probably offer a healthy 6k to you if I were in the market but thats not the case

At any rate nice car and GLWS

Thanks man, I may take 9000 for it, but I do have a lot of stuff done to the car, and ya I did'nt list all of it, I thought if somebody was really interested in the car they would have contacted me,I was thinking that would have been easy that way, And I do have a lot of time and money into the car. but thanks for the nice comment, I have been getting hit on this car a lot, but oh well. Thanks again.

Set up a photobucket account & upload images from your computer to host them. Copy the image codes from photobucket and paste them here in your thread. Good luck.

FYI, the Ronals have been available brand new again for a while:

    http://www.ronalwheels.co.uk/?page_id=25

$811/set including shipping from the UK:

    http://www.tunershop.com/Wheels/15_inches/

If you've owned the car for 18 years, a complete paper trail would greatly help you make a case for a price north of $6500.

GLWS. If people have been tough on you, it's largely due to the fact that you're a new member posting a price based on your expectations, not on what you would have learned about the vortex MKI culture from reading everything possible a year back. Nothing personal, but spelling also goes a long way around here when you're asking big money.

I feel better about asking $10k for my one-owner, fully documented '83 GTI when I put it up for sale next month.

I'll give you $4k cash sight unseen, or $3,000 and my Mk3 2.0L. Only mods are a rusted hood and plaid headliner. It's super clean. Let me knows.

I think the cars worth every bit of $7500-$8k. I've seen junk go for $6k and this seems to be done right.... GLWTS.

X2. And if I personally was in the market for a high-dollar mk1, any aftermarket sunroof would be a deal-breaker. Otherwise, the car looks real nice. Good luck with the sale.
