I have a 1999 Jetta with a 2001 1.8T with 65,000 miles on the engine. Don't have time or energy to part it out and not interested in fixing. ECU does not communicate(interferes with inspection) and needs a clutch. If you have the time and interest to fix or part it out make a reasonable offer. Would like to get$1750. Sorry, can't tell you which tranny is in the car. Only had it for 2 months and didn't know much about it. It is a 5 speed though

Thanks for the advice...but I can't figure out how to post pics. Have been sending them to those interested via email. I would like to get $1750 for the car...motor has 65000 on it and body is in good condition, but it will take some money to get it up and going "legally". Needs new clutch and computer work so that the ECU will communicate so it can be inspected. Let me know if you want pics sent to an email. Thanks
