Sure you COULD do that but you wouldn't get near the results of back-lit needles...

Found pictures of mine way back in the day. It had white/light grey pillars. Smoothed them and painted them black. Painted visors black along with everything else that wasnt black. Grey suede headliner, door cards and knee pads under dash. The car has been sitting up since 2005 and it still looks as good as it did the day I did it.

No I don't. I had to search through page after page of Cardomain to find those pictures. That was back in 2005. I just took off the door handles sprayed the hell out of it with glue and laid it on. Was really easy. Thats the first and only interior I have ever done.

You can see the ugly old door cards and the knee bars.

I would take these out and put them in my glx if they were electric door cards and if I had black seats. I loved the way it looked when it was all put together. It was nice and simple.

Visors are one thing that you don't paint though. Especially when black cabrio visors are plentiful and easy to find.

The wheel from eBay is not the same wheel as in my car.. My wheel is a MoMo wheel and was about $350.00.. And the quick release was a NRG.

Just an FYI, if you click on the images, you can get the image tag for a bigger version, rather than just the thumbnail.

I'll play. I had mk2 trophy recaros in my car for a couple years. They didn't fit my frame very well and started to cause back problems. So I picked up a set of Evo8 recaros and mounted them up with some drilled corbeau brackets. Looking to grab some blue DE rears to somewhat match at some point. Got some custom panels here and there, cabrio dash, blah blah blah nobody cares

Before (old pic from my black car, but same setup)

Cabrio dash wha? The radio panel is interesting though. I don't know how close you are to me but I know of some blue DE rears in a junkyard in RI.

Has anybody tackled pillar's where the fabric needed to be stitched because it wouldn't stretch enough?

I'm not sure where you live but where I'm from you never see a Cabrio on the road, much less in a junk yard. And why buy new visors when I can paint them for nearly nothing.

No Cabrios in Georgia? That's surprising. i guess it's hot and wet. I see them all the time up here, and summer isn't long.
