Thread: new dash symbol??..

    There a symbol that comes up with a circle with lines around it...and it only comes on when i move..and it beeps..what the hell is that now???

    Brake pad wear sensors are hitting, or the wire is possibly torn. I believe you only have them on the front brakes. You might want to consider doing brakes and replacing the pads. (Might as well do rotors as well as its not much more expensive) They are also a fairly easy DIY job.

    Basically once the pads are worn down it trips the sensor and throws that light.

    Not sure if this helps, but I had the same issue. Turns out the brake pads have a sensor on them that trips that light when the pads wear low (some say when there is ~30% left IIRC). More than likely however, the wire broke causing the light to come on. You can often take the pad wires, pull them off the pad and twist them together.

    Even if it is, it's no cause for alarm, the car isn't running, but the key is turned to on.. You can do the same thing with your car too

    yes i know this, but i was going to ask is the boost gauge if it was intergraded into it? or does it just look like that?

    I believe the picture was just taken to make it look that way.

    if your brakes arent worn just check your clips.. after inspecting mines found the wire wasnt making a good connnection.. redid it and all is good
