HPA 02M Transmission Short Throw Shifter

The HPA Short Throw Shifter is manufactured from an all new dedicated casting which is CNC machined to precise tolerances.



With designs for the Mk4, Mk5 and Mk6 platform, these versatile pieces of hardware can be set up on one of two different positions to suit your preference: a sporty 20% reduction in throw or a more aggressive 35%/40%.

The perfectly balanced shifter counter weight gives each shift a precise and positive engagement and greatly improves the feeling over the sloppy stock shifter.

The bright zinc plated finish ensures that the stock appearance of your engine compartment is maintained while protecting the casting from corrosion.

Includes threaded pin / ball connection for connecting the shifter linkage. Easy to follow installation instructions are available upon request.

If you are on the table about this... buy it. I haven't been in the VW scene for a few years now but when I had my R32 I had essentially the same shifter as this one and it was perfect. HPA is a fantastic company. Keep up the good work

I own a VW Golf GTI 35AE and it already came from factory with an OEM Short Shifter (the same used for the Audi S3)... So my HPA short shifter was installed at the 35% reduction position and it really rocks!
