My new to me Tig sunroof seems to only open part way (half open), when parked or stopped, but opens fully when moving. Have to close and then reopen, when moving; cannot open fully from part way.

I have pulled control for reset operation; sunroof cycles, but only to part way open (stopped or moving). I will try lubing next , but since it is repeatable I don't think it will help this issue.

I have vag-com, but haven't seen any settings related to any thing like this.

Anyone seen this type of sunroof operation?

Thats odd. i take it you are holding the knob in the full open position?. if you in the ny nj area i'll be glad to have a look at it.

followup: sunroof track was bent, dealer replaced track and curtain under warranty; took a week to get parts, but OK now. I bought Tiguan used, so don't know how it was damaged.
